Message outer dimension smaller. The outer shaft has two small holes on either side. When the inner shaft is slid into the outer shaft, the holes line up with these cutouts. Presumably this is where plastic/nylon was injected into one side and when it came out the other side the cutouts were filled and was allowed to cure at the factory. I am speculating, but this is how it appears. The holes are maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a millimeter.....very tiny. I will try and draw a picture and post later as i did not think to take pictures prior to epoxying.

What i did was apply epoxy to these cutouts and then slide the inner shaft into the outer shaft carefully aligning to proper length and then allowing to cure.
